Richard’s love of medicine started on a humanitarian trip to Bolivia. Since then, he’s always been passionate about helping the injured. He enjoys helping patients regain function in order to perform the activities they love. Richard received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and his master’s from the University of Nebraska. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. In his free time, Richard loves biking, hiking, traveling and photography, in addition to spending time with his children and granddaughter.
