Alexa is the athletic trainer for Anderson County High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Tennessee in 2021 and a master’s degree in athletic training from James Madison University in 2024.
Alexa grew up around multiple family members working in the medical field and sustained several injuries from being a competitive gymnast, so she knew athletic training was the perfect career.
She loves working at the high school level because she gets to be a part of the athletes’ journey both on and off the field. Alexa finds it rewarding to see the students grow and succeed as athletes and members of the community.
When not at work, Alexa enjoys watching sporting events of the Volunteers or Dukes and spending time with her husband, dog and cat at home.
