You’re in good hands with skilled and caring advanced practitioners who have devoted years of intensive study to your injury or condition.
Jeff is a physician assistant originally from East Tennessee. He had a life-changing experience in California years ago when he helped an elderly woman who was choking. Since then, he always wanted to pursue a career in medicine so he could help people for a living. He attended Augusta State University in Georgia for his undergraduate training and completed his physician assistant degree at South University in Savannah. Jeff is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Association of Physician Assistants. Jeff currently works with Dr. Spencer in our Shoulder and Elbow Center. Not only does he see patients in the clinic, he also assists Dr. Spencer in the operating room and is involved in research. He and Dr. Spencer pride themselves on giving above-standard care and informing all of their patients about what to expect before, during, and after surgery. The team approach at KOC is second to none. Jeff lives in Knoxville with his wife, Rebecca, and their three sons. He enjoys golfing, fishing and snow and water skiing.
