Growing up in Knoxville with a father and grandfather who were physicians, Dr. Dilworth always knew he wanted to follow in their footsteps. He chose joint replacement because he enjoys seeing his patients recover quickly and get back to the activities they never thought they’d be able to do again. His special interests include direct anterior approach hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and Mako robotic-arm assisted total knee replacement. Dr. Dilworth and his wife Brittany are the proud parents of two young children. In his free time, he likes playing sports, traveling, and being outside with his family.

Thanks to my care at KOC, I can now walk without limping. I have full range of motion three weeks after Dr. Dilworth did a partial knee replacement. He is a very thorough doctor. I am pleased with the care I received. He took time to answer all my questions.

Thanks to my care at KOC, I can get into and out of car, bed and climb stairs without pain. It’s the FIRST TIME in several years to be pain free (or almost pain free) after repeated visits to my previous doctor at another practice who had done my original hip replacements. The immediate results of the hip replacements were good. However when I started to have pain and physical limitations several years later the original doc told me nothing could be done; I just needed to accept it and know I’d never be pain free again. I accepted that because he has a remarkable reputation. When I had a major traumatic orthopedic event in late December I met Dr. Dillworth while hospitalized. At followup, his office staff and he and his colleagues were kind and caring. All 3 KOC doctors I had contact with in January showed compassion and understanding and reassured me I would be taken care of that day...and I was. It was a total 180 degree difference from interaction at the other practice where I got no treatment at all and rude hostile interaction from the doctor.
