Absolutely top notch. Dr. Spencer repaired a complete rotator cuff tear in my shoulder. He explained the procedure from beginning to end. And took the time to answer any questions I had. He's truly amazing. I would and will highly recommend Dr. Spencer and the entire staff at KOC. Thanks again.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can start my new good paying career off. I will be lifting a lot and should not have problems with a numb hand. Robert Hawkins is exceptionally caring, nice and informative. The injection didn’t hurt at all. Loved the whole ordeal. My hand is already better!
Dr. Craig is one of the best. In 2016, he performed an epidural on me to eliminate the severe pain in my back. I was 75 at the time. His procedure has kept me going until today. I am returning for another appointment to see if he will again give me another epidural. I would never allow anyone but Dr. Craig to do this for I truly have great trust in him and God holds his hands.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can now walk without limping. I have full range of motion three weeks after Dr. Dilworth did a partial knee replacement. He is a very thorough doctor. I am pleased with the care I received. He took time to answer all my questions.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can deal with the whole ordeal better. This man Dr. Paul Johnson, his excellent staff and the knowledge and professional experience I received is way beyond any situation I could've encountered. They really care about their patients.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can do anything I want. I go the gym and lift weight. Dr. Johnson made this possible. Great surgeon. I give him 5 stars out of 5.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I am now back in my whitewater kayak 7 months after my surgery. Due to severe lumbar stenosis I was barely able to walk 9 months ago. I'm now virtually pain free and back to all activities including whitewater kayaking, daily 2 hour sessions in the gym, mountain biking and hiking. Dr. Madigan is an amazing surgeon and we are extremely fortunate to have KOC in the Knoxville area. By the way, I'm 71 years young!!!!!!!
Thanks for my care at KOC, Dr. Botero. There are no words to describe the care I received today from you and your surgical team at Parkwest Medical Center. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Let the PT begin!!! Looking forward to seeing you again for my follow up! Your #1 Fan!
I had to make a little visit to your after hours clinic for an ankle fracture and tendon injury. I called to make sure that my insurance was accepted and it was about 7:30 when I called. I knew they closed at 8 so I was worried that I would not get there in time, and that I would have to make a trip to an emergency room. The lady I spoke with on the phone was SO kind and professional. She told me they would take care of me and get me in. The sweet check in girl was just wonderful! I also work in the medical field so I am fully aware of the long, busy and exhausting days and when it comes time to go home we are READY to go. They not once acted frustrated or irritated that I was there and that I was their last patient of the evening. They treated me SOOOO kind and took amazing care of me. I not once felt like they were rushing through with me or that I was a burden. I cannot rave about this staff enough! It is clear to me that they care about their patients and that they are very good at the job they have! I also spoke with Denise Bales who was so kind and proud of the staff! As my first injury/ fracture my experience with KOC has been great! It can be rare to find employees who go above and beyond as they did! You have a special little group there!
Thanks to my daughter's care at KOC, she can return to life as a normal 6 year old. My oldest daughter was outside playing with a softball bat and it came out of her hand hitting my 6-year-old's hand. She had a glass of milk and the glass exploded. What we thought was just a simple cut and a quick trip to the ER turned out to be a cut nerve and tendons. We were referred through our insurance to KOC where we met with one of the pediatric doctors. He advised we would want to see one of the 3 hand specialists, all of whom he would let do surgery on his children. We were lucky to get an appointment the next day with Dr. Rogozinski. After a quick check we learned about the nerve damage and that surgery was going to occur the next morning. Everyone was great in comforting a brave 5 year old at the time. Upon check in they gave her bear Rainbow a bracelet just like hers. They took us back to the waiting area where everyone was amazing. Recovery was easy and they even dressed Rainbow in surgical dress out full with mask and hair cover. She was in a cast for 6 weeks after surgery and had to do PT for about 12 weeks. Because of the amazing work of Dr. Rogo and his staff, Baylee is on her way to a good recovery of an injury that could very well have cost her the movement of her pinky finger. At last check up all nerve activity was normal and she is able to make a fist. She still has work to do to move the tip on its own but we believe that this will happen in time, but if not we are still very grateful.
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can continue to live a more productive life. I have been a registered nurse for 35 years. I had developed a Duyputren's contracture which was starting to make my job duties difficult, from gloving for procedures to doing things which require fine motor control and hand strength. I had done my research on Duyputren's. I was aware of the treatments and pretty much what one could expect a competent physician to do. Dr. Ivy did it by the book, displayed great competence with the procedure, and had great bedside manner. For the follow up release procedure he did a great job. It was as close to pain free as one would expect with a procedure like this, and for the first time in a few years my hand and finger are straight. This will enable a few more productive years as a nurse for me. The hand is a very complicated organ, and you don't want to trust it to just anyone. Dr. Ivy is someone you may trust your hand to with confidence!
Thanks to my care at KOC, I can walk without foot pain. I had struggled with feet issues my whole life. I had surgery on one foot and will be scheduling to have the procedure done on the other foot soon. Looking forward to getting my life back. Not to mention having a “normal” looking foot is a plus.
