What patients say about Dr. smith

  • Thanks to my care from Dr. Smith at KOC, I was able to quickly recover from a torn ACL in my left knee in 2011. In 2013, I enlisted in the US Army Infantry. Now, in September 2018, I am a Staff Sergeant in a Reconnaissance Platoon, stationed in Hawaii. My knee has traveled thousands of miles, taken me through other countries, and has served me well. Thanks to KOC and the amazing team that fixed me up!
I really wish you guys were over here in Oahu, because 2 days ago I fell off an obstacle during a platoon training event, and re-injured the same knee. I felt and heard it pop as it buckled and bent sideways. Hopefully the Army will take care of me as well as KOC did, although I doubt it.
    – James, Kapolei, Hawaii
  • Thanks to my knee replacement by Dr. Smith, I can get back to my life. Two years of suffering and I am now pain free. I was back to normal actives in a couple of months.
    – Woody, Crossville
  • “My knees were bone to bone when my wife called and made an appointment with Dr. Robert Smith and we saw him in January. Dr Smith was so caring and concerned he made us feel so important. Dr Smith did my operation the end of January and it went great. I had a total knee replacement and the care I received from him was awesome, then in October he did my other knee. The whole time I have been with Dr Smith and KOC for two knee replacements has been wonderful. Today is June 1st 2015 and Dr. Robert Smith released me but during my visit he made sure if I needed to see him for anything to just call. Now that's a great doctor. Thanks to my care, I can walk again with out hurting.

    – Gerald, Sevierville
  • “I have been a patient at KOC for many years and know that I can depend on the care I will receive there. I have used several of the specialists at this facility and have seen Dr. Robert Smith a lot. He did a knee replacement for me. I haven’t had the first problem with it and that has been about four or five years. I have had him for several other problems and I think he is just the greatest.”
