Is shoulder pain or limited mobility holding you back from the life you want to live? Are you interested in learning more about rotator cuff repair or shoulder replacement? Dr. Brian Holloway, fellowship-trained shoulder surgeon with Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, will speak at the Good Samaritan Society - Fairfield Glade on Tuesday, October 17, at 2 p.m. His presentation is entitled, “Common Shoulder Problems in the Active Senior.”
Dr. Holloway has been a designer and consultant for several shoulder prostheses, and has been involved in numerous multi-center studies evaluating outcomes of shoulder replacement and rotator cuff repair. He’s a frequent presenter at various orthopaedic conferences, and an instructor for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons on both open and arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
Dr. Holloway was elected as a member of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons in 2014. He has more than 20 years of surgical experience and has performed thousands of shoulder procedures.
“My fellowship training and focus on a single joint allow me to improve patient outcomes with fewer complications,” said Dr. Holloway. “I’ve spent my entire career learning and teaching the latest techniques and advances in shoulder surgery.”
Dr. Holloway will take questions from the audience after his presentation. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free, but reservations are required. Please RSVP by October 13 to Good Samaritan Society at (931) 456-1576 if you would like to attend.
